LATE~BUT I MADE IT~WHEW!

Hi Everyone......I am up early to get this posted.....I could not get to it yesterday as we are dealing with a serious family issue and it makes concentration on anything else difficult!! I am sure you can all relate.....at sometime or other!

A nice neighbor came over with these roses this week....they have such a lovely fragrance and they are PINK! A couple of mornings later I woke up an explosion of pink petals and thought it looked so pretty I took a picture to share....

I had several Peony blooms this year....usually I don't get any or only one or two...but those naughty black squirrels we have, here, ate off all the bloom heads except two. This is one of the two! You do not know how frustrated I get at those creatures! They bite off the heads, open them up and leave a pile of tiny pink petals just to get me. Just like what they did with many of the tulip buds. Uggggggg!

A little Pin Cushion you can see at my EBAY auctions along with other "Pretties" in PINK some of which are below.....One in BLUE, too...

These beautiful handpainted porcelain buttons were a gift from my friend Kate of
" MY ENGLISH ROSE COTTAGE"

If you are not familiar with this lovely Boutique, you will quickly fall in love once there....don't forget to Bookmark her site so you can go back often!

Thank you for visiting this beautiful PINK SATURDAY and have fun roaming thru all the other delectable pinkie blogs thanks to Beverly of How Sweet The Sound...

Hugs To All....Jil

Happy Pink Saturday, Jil! I love everything - those pincushions are beautiful - so are the flowers! I am from Michigan, originally - from Dearborn. My parents also lived for several years in Rogers City - just a block from Lake Huron! Small world!

Lovely pink blog post! Another Saturday, where I am taking in all of the pink and visiting some of the most lovely blogs in cyberspace. I need the pink this morning, it's all dark and raining outside. So thanks for the uplift☺

Sending tender thoughts your way hoping that your stressful family issue will resolve itself in a positive way.

Wishing you and those you l♥ve a weekend filled with sunshine, good food and many, tender memories.

Jil I really enjoyed your lovely photos. We have issues with naughty squirrels eating our roses, impatients, and geraniums.

Those buttons are really special!

Thanks you for sharing!

Happy Belated Pink Saturday and Happy Fathers Day to all the men in your life.
it takes me a while to get around to all the pink posts.
My prayers are with you for your family issues and I am sending you a big hug...
You have a beautiful blog with gorgeous flowers...my parents are not fans of the squirrels either as they destroyed the first crop from their almond tree, the peaches, the pecans, the apples...they are very destructive just eating what they want and then throwing it on the ground.
I joined your sweet blog and I would love for you to visit me if you have time
hugs
debbie

Those pin cushions are gorgeous but way to beautiful to use! I love the story of the black squirrels (in the UK the red squirrel is very endangered, so we mostly have the grey ones, destructive little so-n-so's) although eating your flowers is a no-no. Maybe they're hungry? Would it be worth hanging nut feeders and try bribing them to leave your flowers alone?

Happy Pink Saturday!
