Angels, Tea And Cookies

Today was truly "blustery." We had thought we would journey to some of our favorite antique haunts, but decided to stay warm and cozy instead. This is a day when you want the tea kettle on softly hissing to be ready to warm up your tea!

Chilly, windy and cloudy with the look of more rain, this is not a day to winterize a garden or two, either, so I finished painting this Angel Candle Holder ....

I have resisted painting on resin....why...I have no idea. Maybe a little timid about a new surface. I am so used to wood and fabric. I found this ready to paint on surface, a joy and will be looking for others to paint up....Now I am wondering why it took me so long....
If you would like you can see more of this tall angel at my website The Ruffled Rose where Marian Elizabeth and I have been working away adding new items....

So, with cozy hugs, I wish you a splendid week!
Jil

Hi Jil :) We've not gotten any rain here today, but it has been quite chilly; though the sun did come out a few times. Those cookies look really good!! Love your sweet Angel candle holder...she's so cute!

Warmest hugs, Brenda
