Hello Pink Loving Friends!  Did you all have a marvelous week?  Did you create all you wanted to?  For me this week, once again, just flew by.  With our darling Miss Allie here, things are busy and I like it that way!  When she goes home, June 9th, coming back to this empty house minus her sweet presence will be tough!  No more happily running here and there, no more of her music (which she is very polite about and keeps low, although I keep telling her to turn it up ), her giggles and her smiles, washing and folding her clothes, wondering what she is craving for dinner.....No doubt about it, so I am readying my mind for this not so happy time, but feel soooo blessed for this very special time with her and....we still have several weeks to enjoy! All we want is for her happiness as she has had far too many bumps, unnecessary bumps already in her young life from a very early age. Acts I am afraid I can never forgive, or understand! />
Beverly is our so nice hostess of our Pink Saturday party...do go over and say "Hi" to her and find all the other "girls" that love pink! My PINK begins with a few of the roses I am making for an order of cookies, cupcakes and cake slices....how nice to wake up to an order!!! ;)
And more roses, this time in fabric, that I am creating for a project which I will share when I have it completed....
This morning I was in my closet and my eye fell on this robe....I have had it well over twenty years and found it at Nordstroms in San Diego, when we lived there. Sigh!
I used this robe in summer and I love the details...two small buttons together then a space then more buttons down the front, open work, dainty pink satin piping, lace, a big ruffle at the bottom and at the wrists....you can't help buy feel feminine and special when wearing this pretty robe! I am going to give it a soak and iron it all pretty and go back to wearing it this summer....it won't be long until it will be "vintage", like it's owner. lol!
Bye For Now... Enjoy your weekend and the week ahead and we will talk soon! Many Happy Blessings! ♥ Jil

Nordstrom's was one of my favorite places to shop when we lived in San Diego as well and the robe is lovely.
I am really a little put out...first Yahoo makes a mess out of itself and now Blogger ...grrrrrr I DO wish they would leave well enough alone tooo. (())

I know it will leave a "big hole" in your life when Miss Allie is no longer with you......but......I know you are appreciating and loving the time she has been with you and the time you have left to enjoy her. I love your robe - as well as alla the beautiful roses you are creating. Have a Happy Birthday today and a fun and productive week.

Oh, I want that robe. And I want the warm weather to wear it in! Love the tiny pink roses on it. Lucky you!

I have an adult daughter living with me for just a while and also am loving the short time I have her. It's a gift.

Hi Jil,
Well, another gorgeous, beautiful, creative pink saturday blog post. And I wrote about milk and cookies. duh... lol:)

Seriously, thanks for stopping by. I have no idea about Miss Allie but you make me curious and brought tears to my eyes because clearly you are cherishing this time but know it won't last. Nothing does...but still. Hoping every single moment you spend together is a blessing to you both!

Oh my, the robe and the roses are gorgeous, so delicate and pretty.
No, I did not create all that I wanted to create. I'm hoping I'll have more quiet and unrushed time this week, it's how I enjoy creativity the most.
HPS, love.
MUAH!!

Hi Jil Sweetie...
Oh what a beautiful share today. I love seeing the gorgeous flowers first off. Be still my little heart. They are so beautiful.

Loved seeing the roses that you are creating. They look so pretty, and I would love it if you did a tutorial on both. Love those cloth ones as well. I can think of several used for both of them. Okay I am waiting.

Love that robe as well. How delicate it is. I love these types, and it is light weight, just the thing we need in the hotter temps. It is so pretty and feminine. Girly....

Oh and before I forget, please have a beautiful and blessed birthday. Happy, happy day for you sweet friend.

Many hugs and much love, Sherry
