Hi Everyone!  So happy you could stop by our fun new party at Etsy Cottage Style called  "Vintage Cottage Style. "  We will be sharing our treasures from our junkin' trips to flea markets, thrift stores, estate sales and so on.  In my part of the country the yard sales won't start for a few months and I am so looking forward to getting back out there, too!  So, I browse the flea markets and the thrift stores and the antique stores, too, for now.
I am going to show you two beautiful and pristine pieces I found at an estate sale.  They were kind of hidden back behind some things, but I saw a bit of the gold trim and the green pattern.
I was thrilled when I uncovered this beautiful tureen and the lovely big platter ~
They go so well together, but the patterns are just slightly different.  The greens are the same.
I decided I was going to keep them and enjoy them for a bit and I did.  They were part of an arrangement on the dining table, but, I have so many pretty treasures and our home is quite petite, so I will be selling them, sigh!  :(
To Ta Loo For Now ~
See you next time with another "junkin treasure!"
Keep Warm And Cozy,
♥ Jil

Jill,I'm so glad you came by to visit with Me.It lead Me to your blog and gave Me a chance to enjoy your pretty finds.I have a big collection of platters. It use to be hard for Me to pass up china platters because I use to use them all the time.We have down sized now. I must stop collecting things.Well, maybe I can keep collecting itty biddy things :)

How well I understand about down sizing! We are in Michigan, but home to us is Arizona. We left a much larger home than we purchased here and I, too, am collecting smaller items...
I took a booth at our new antique store in our quaint little downtown. A friend and I are doing it together. She is as nutty as I am about finding "treasures", but I believe she is worse than I am, though. She has a garage piled high with so many goodies. It is a good thing we have our booth. I sell things on my website, too!
So nice meeting and chatting with you!

Hi Jill,
Thank you so much for stopping by and your good wishes. This set is so unique, love it. They could almost be a set they look so much alike, just beautiful pieces. Too bad you must sell them, but I understand. I have already given my daughters some of my things, have so much and we have a large home but not enough storage. They used to make big homes long ago but with very small closets. Hugs..Lu

I love your pretty china pieces! I don't even want anything new, when there are such lovely old things to be found. Many of my "treasures" are from homes that I cleaned out, and they were part of the payment for the help I provided. But I sure do like to stop at every antique shop or co-op I see when I get to travel.
Good luck with your booth! I wish I could do that! Love, Linda

What is it about pretty dishes...that's why I had to do the wreaths! Just can't resist even a little lone saucer.

Thank you so much for coming by my blog! I love your pretty cottage finds! I too love pretty vintage dishes and seek them mostly in thrift stores. I usually give up something if I find something, as my 'collection' is out of room. Looking forward to getting to know you better. ~Cindy
