~TIME FOR PINK SATURDAY~

A warm cozy welcome to PINK SATURDAY! It has been a week of low dark clouds and buckets of rain and much cooler temperatures here by the shores of Lake Huron, but if you visit Beverly of How Sweet The Sound... you will find nothing but sunny pink blogs to prowl thru to Ohhhh and Ahhhh over! Be sure to have your cup of coffee or tea with you and just relax and have fun....that is what this day is all about! I will be joining you in my pink winter "jammies" and cozy pink slippers and for me....a diet cherry Dr. Pepper in hand!

All week I had plans to get ready for today and everyday I said to myself "I will do that tomorrow, for sure!" Well, late this Friday evening I realized I had procrastinated all week and here I am not at all prepared, but.......
hubby saved the day with a picture of the one lone "pinkish" red leaf on the Maple tree outside our bedroom window....the only one on the whole tree. I know it won't be long until all the leaves will be pretty shades of reds and golds.

And, a few hanger covers I did this week all in shades of pink with roses, roses, and more roses as well as ribbon embroidery and other pretty details...

I beaded this one, too...

And last, but not least....A lovely pillow or door charmer with a Frances Brundage vintage image on fine cotton and more ribbon embroidery with Swarovski crystal beads...

Bye for now and thank you for coming by for a visit....
See you all next week!
Jil

Jil, I just love that hanger cover!

Did you make the embroidered flowers on the doily? Of course, you did! I must learn how to do that because I have so many doilies!

Nothing but very dark low clouds here for as long as I can remember. It is foggy right now, too. All the trees have turned and are shedding their leaves rapidly.

I don't know the date on my collar and cuff set. I hope someone can date it for me. Wishing you a Happy Pink Saturday!

We are heading out for a walk in the woods to check out the fall colors. We have a boat up on Lake Huron in Cheboygan. Love it! I can't wait for the leaves to turn, they've been a bit slow about it here, I think because we've had a mild fall. Your hanger covers and pillow are absolutely beautiful. Pure eye candy for this pink day. Happy Pink Saturday, I hope it's a great one!

Hello Jil, your pinks are all so sweet. The leaf is all alone in it's glory. I hope more color will happen soon. Here in NC we have some color but I don't think it can compare with last years color. Your hanger cover is just beautiful. A lovely piece of sewing art.

Thanks for coming back to mention our puppy. We can't wait to bring her home in Nov.

Hugs, Jeanne

Lovely Pink Saturday post and sweet blog, too. Woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground so even thought this isn't Saturday I really needed a boost! Today you made me smile...today's post was FABULOUS!

Sorry, I didn't get to see everyone yesterday. I had important business. My 11 year-old grandson was playing football and he wanted Mimi to go to the out-of-town-last-of-the-season-game. THEY WON AGAINST AN UNDEFEATED TEAM! WOO-HOO! 35 - 17☺

Hope the coming week blesses you with sunshine, happiness and good friends.
